Starting nursery life in our Village Nursery group is a wonderful way to introduce a young child to the stimulating and exciting environment of the nursery school. Qualified and experienced staff help children to explore a wide range of stimulating and fun filled activities while still providing plenty of one to one contact and nurturing. The Village playroom has been developed to meet the needs of young children - all meals, snacks and sleep-times are taken within the nursery room.

The children’s day is organised around their care needs and a range of carefully planned activities. These activities are set out in different areas of the playroom with staff supporting each activity, helping the children to play and have fun, while encouraging their development. Children may partake in whichever activities they wish and for as long as they choose; at this stage of development their concentration span is only brief and rather like butterflies they will happily flit from one activity to another.
