FLEXIBLE PART TIME STAFF

THE POSITION

The post involves working with children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. We will guarantee, on average, at least 16 hours work per week and it will usually be more than this because you will also be providing cover for staff holidays or other staff absences.  You must therefore be capable of being flexible with your working days.

 

The nursery is open between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm Monday – Friday all year round except bank holidays and between Christmas and new year and a shift system is in place to cover these hours.

 

Lunch is provided and taken with the children, plus there is a separate 30 minutes break away from the children when your time is your own.  You will need to provide your own black trousers and in addition the school will provide two tunics and a fleece.

 

Wages -  £6.08 per hour

Holidays  - 28 days - pro rata inc bank holidays

 

THE PERSON

 

You need to be keen and enthusiastic, healthy, relate well to people and be serious about wanting to work with young children and be able to be flexible with your working week.  Childcare qualification not essential but would be advantage.
